To Gnome is to love me

Hi there . Welcome to my second blog  place where I am posting cards/ projects that I might have made just for fun .Thank you for calling in .

Today I had some time spare between washing machine loads so not wanting to get too involved in any large project I found a set of stamps with small images for quick colouring .

The words though , are from a SU set , Botanicals For You.

I used copics as colour medium .

The card base is Hammered White 14cm square. from a pack of pre cut card.

I was not expecting the result I got when I stamped the sentiment onto the hammered card front .It is different but I think I like it .

Now , as is my  usual habit , I will stand this in front of my work space for a day or two and think about whether or not to add embellishments .

I did enjoy the colouring but not the washing …

Hello craft pals .Thank you for calling in .  I do hope that all is well with you and yours.

Am sharing a card made a few days ago .I have a few male rellies who have birthdays coming up and this may just suit .  This is the card front . Sorry I have cropped and straightened recklessly . It is a 14.5 cm square card and the front panel has been adhered with foam dots .

 

Soft Suede card base with Choc Chip layers and LOTV paper  and pre coloured image .              Words are from old SU set , Happy Everything . While the sentiment for inside is so old the name has gone .

 

 

Or as I say you are only as old as you feel .

Get inky for Tag Tuesday

Time poor , lost mojo and perhaps too many projects on the go .

I am sure most of you will relate,  but having said that , I am indeed sorry that I have not participated for a while in tag making for Tag Tuesday .

So here  I am trying again .     As soon as I saw the theme I knew the image I wanted to use .     I remember being so messy with pens and ink, when I was much younger .

 

Just simple tag using,   Whisper White card , Regal Rose ink ,

stamp , SU.  Watercolour Wash for the back ground .

Four in one

Well , hello . Welcome to my room and my’ Just for me ‘ post . This is where I have decided to show off the cards that I make just for me .

Today, being Tuesday , was my craft morning with friends. Because Sandy had Family Stuff  going on , only Fran was able to make it this time . We had a couple of hours of cutting and sticking and really doing our thing . Coffee and nibbles had  between projects while sharing each others news for the week .

My shares.. The first two , Card bases SU, car images and paper are kraftyhand products. Sentiments and punches used for them are from SU.

Grandson Birthday card

Whew , hot here today .

Hi there welcome to my room and my ” Just for me” Wordpress post.

Today I will post a card I made for one of my Grandsons .He wont see this here so all good but I really should have googled for the colours of a basket ball . Not to youngish for a 10 year old do you think?

Must apologize to the many groups that I am part off but don’t visit often enough  .Something always seems to hinder me and time management skills are fading fast . Tuesday morning

Hello there. Totally awesome that you have found me .

Welcome to my room .

I have decided to keep this blog for de stressing . Just for fun so to speak .

Today , being Tuesday , is my fun time . One half day when I have friends over for card making , cuppa and nibbles. Lots of chatting and laughter .

With their permission , let me introduce Sandy and Fran. Some of my followers /visitors from my blog ,  http://shirley-anne-stampingforjoy.blogspot.com.au/ may have already seen them before .

But as I am beginning anew , let me reintroduce Fran at head of table and Sandy on the right ..I have another craft buddie , Jane , who I hope to have here on Friday afternoon so you will see her then .

Our routine for the morning is a bit of a catch up chat first as we settle down at the table . Then I bring out the kits that I have prepared for them to complete .Always CAS cards .Sometimes card designs that have appealed to me from pinterest  ,  blog browsing or magazines . Some of the cards are my DT cards for Kraftyhands  ,                                      Christmas Card weekly Challenge  or Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenge  . But many are just for my stash
